USB Dongle !!
After reading a number of reviews i decided that this was to be the new mouse for my MSI U100 Notebook. I got it due to its size of both the mouse and the dongle, only problem being that the dongle does not actually fit and connect properly into my USB's and closer inspection the size of the USB dongle end was smaller than most other USB's so i now have to use the extension that come with it :( BOO

other than that the mouse is great precise, small and light.

Great mouse
This is a great little mouse, the small usb reciever makes it forgettable, dont have to take it out or damage it like the bigger usb reciever on other wirless mouses. The scrolling wheel is well designed, with hyper scrolling and normal scrolling. I recommend this mouse.

Its a great "little" mouse
Out of the box a breeze once I put the batteries in and tiny (nano) USB responder into my laptop.

Software was a slight issue but updated software auto loaded on-line via initial install (maybe the way I or my laptop did the install of the CD?). After that - reboot required and all options available as expected.

Did note two Quick Start guides in the box - version 004/005.

This is a small mouse (right had oriented - which suits me) most certainly a thumb+third/little finger driven device and palm on the required surface.

All features and operations seem fine with standard settings for "general use" but I am not 100% convinced about the positions of the default FWD/BACK browser buttons as these when performing primary tasks for left click are too easy to hit by accident (big fingers?). In most applications these may not actually do anything but when they are required the accidental pressing of the left click could be an issue!

Its horses for courses and these FWD/BACK buttons can be disabled if required.

This will I am sure grow on me and well done to logitech for some of the finer/practical points.

This will be very good for use on the train (limited space) and I am looking for something along these lines and of my previous bigger logitech mouse for the permanent at home use.

Logitech do provide the mouse I am generally looking for but they have swapped out the telephone mast type USB transmitter for a rechargeable only device - I think! Shame...

I am thinking about buying this but i only have a very small area(need mouse as small as possible to use it in; so how big is it roughly?

Any suggestions for a mouse would help

This is a fine and effective Mouse. We have bought two, one for the laptop and one for the standalone. Razor sharp design, clever in practice.
