Panasonic SD253 Breadmaker with Nut Dispenser Reviews

Panasonic SD253 Breadmaker with Nut Dispenser
I bought this for my Mum and she seems to think it is very good and has a good receipe book to go with it - the fast bake setting also means that you don't have to wait so long for a fresh loaf of bread, but if you want the bread for the next morning you need to time it correctly as there is a limit to the time delay.
I'm not sure what the nut disperser thing is about.
Overall it's working well and we get a good loaf of fresh bread from it.

easy home made bread
I received one of these for christmas and haven't bought a loaf from the shop since. It is realy easy to use and clean. The only disaster I have had was when I used a bread mix rather than individual ingredients. The timer function is great - waking up to the smell of freshly cooked bread can't be beat!

Makes great Gluten Free Bread!
I was diagnosed as a Coeliac about 4 months ago and had been looking for a good substitute for the expensive and frankly gross bread-like-substance you can buy from the shops. After a lot of swearing, I finally found a recipe that works pretty well and this breadmaker does a fantastic job of it! I should note that I don't use the gluten free programme on this machine, but I have used the basic and dough for bread/ pizza bases.
I find the machine's UI very straightforward and it even fits in my relatively small kitchen.
I'm sure it also makes very good regular bread, though I admit it - I've not tried.

Cracking bread, Maisie
A superb machine that knocks out excellent crusty loaves in two hours or - if you want - cooks them overnight so they're ready in the morning. A simple intuitive LCD steers you through the programming - it's so simple even I can do it. Cleaning is a doddle, too, although it's a shame that the pan isn't dishwasher safe. It even looks good in the kitchen. Try making your own spelt and rye loaves and you'll never look at supermarket bread again. Recommended without reserve. Buy one.

yummy bread
I brought my panasonic bread maker nearly ten years ago!... it is still going strong and i have never had a bad loaf of bread. Whats more it is very simple to use and exceedingly easy to clean( I usually hate cleaning gadgets!). My version is the old SD 206. I am now going to update to the SD 253 as my son needs Gluten, Dairy and soya free bread, and I am hoping that this version will make Gluten free loafs as easily as the wheat loaves in my old one.
