Reviews of Holts HT3YA 400ml Tyreweld Emergency Puncture Repair:

Not for tyres with inner tube.
I'm sure this stuff is fine but after delivery I read the can & It's not for tyres with inner tubes.

Holts HT3YA 400ml Tyreweld Emergency Puncture Repair
Holts HT3YA 400ml Tyreweld Emergency Puncture Repair - it works, that's all you need to know, but the can contents does not inflate the tyre enough to drive, try to use it with some air left in tyre otherwise you wont be able to drive to the nearest garage to use their airline. To completely deflate the tyre is bad advice.

Don't get taken in !!!
This product is fine if you are really in a jam !However, think twice before using it on an otherwise good or expensive tyre,as I did on a nearly new Michelin Pilot on my Renault Clio.I have been told by several tyre repairers that once tyreweld has been used, the tyre is NOT REPAIRABLE as it is virtually impossible to sufficiently remove it from the inside of the tyre surface to effect a permanent repair.(This is despite the instructions on the product advising getting the tyre permanently repaired asap!)My advice is-if you have a spare, take the time to fit it,unless you really are only looking for a "get me there at all costs" solution!

Excellent stuff
I didnt buy my Tyreweld off of Amazon but just in a local garage. I had to use it with my Lotus elise as they dont come with a spare. The tyre was fully flat when I used it. It wont pump the tyre up from the can, but as soon as you start driving, it inflates the tyre a little (enough for you to get it to a garage and pump it up properly). Its been in the tyre for about 2 months and still doing the job well. As I dont drive the call all the time I have not got round to getting it properly repaired. It also says on the can not to exceed 50mph when using it, however I can say mine was fine at 60mph.
The only thing I found wrong with it was when using it quite a bit of the foam came out of the top over my hands, but still worked anyway.

Works of pushbikes
I tried it on a push bike tyre and it appeared to work quite well. One can per tyre.
