I have had this DVD player for a couple of years now and after looking for a new dvd player (multi region) came across the review by Kalpesh with instructions. I thought it would be worth a try and after a frustrating 20 minutes, managed to change it to multi region. It was actually quite simple but I don't think it was quite clear what you should do once highlighting the preferences box. I had to press 'ok 'before putting the code in, (even though this seems to bring you into the audio option). Thanks to the other reviewer who pointed this out as well as to Kalpesh. This has been a great dvd player (as well as audio and vcd player) up until now and is even better now that it can play dvds from all regions. My daughters are delighted as they had bought several dvds when overseas recently (we were unaware that they wouldn't work as have always bought vcds in the past which have worked). Great value for money too!

How simple is this to use? VERY!! A total joy to use, even for techophobes like myself!

Just what I wanted
I am well pleased with this purchase. The product that I bought performs exactly as I had hoped.

It's OK, but the subtitles often dont work
The DVD player is light and thin and therefore fits most setups. The picture quality is fine, especially considering the price. However, on many occassions, the subtitles on foreign films do not work properly. Philips were no help with this matter.
